About La Petite École d’Eliana
We are a French bilingual mini-crèche based in Wembley. We care for children from 3 months to 5 years, and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to start school.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on learning and language. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms in a home-away-from-home environment, we are able to create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn. Our focus is on small group sizes to help children adapt to a childcare environment where they are able to socialise with other children at a similar developmental level.
We believe that language is a gateway when it comes to learning and that by offering the opportunity to organically learn both English and French, children have a strong foundation for all aspects of their education.
Who We Are
La Petite École d’Eliana was opened in Wembley, London, in 2022 by Priscilla Buapanga after experiencing success with her first setting, Eliana Bilingual Nursery in 2019. We decided to bring our high-quality, bilingual childcare to Wembley. La Petite École d’Eliana creates a space that fosters early language learning in a fun and safe environment.
Our setting is a place where children from 3 months to 5 years can explore the world around them, experience French culture each and every day, and learn French and English organically.
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage exploration, discovery, emotional intelligence and building friendships.
At La Petite École d’Eliana, we have created an enabling environment where children feel valued, allowing them to acquire the essential skills needed to grow, develop, and blossom into confident well-rounded beings.

Baby Room
Our calm, nurturing setting gives our youngest children the opportunity to explore the world safely, supported by our caring nursery teachers.
Toddler Room
The children enter our toddler room around the age of two, where they are more curious than ever. We present them with opportunities to develop their motor and communication skills through play and communal learning.

Preschool is our key stage where we prepare the children for the next step in their education journey. At this stage, we encourage listening, sharing, and working cooperatively; the aim is to build social skills which will help them reach their full potential in the classroom.
Outdoor Space
We have a large, secure outdoor space for the children which is filled with garden equipment and toys to aid their learning. Outside, we hold science and nature classes for the children to explore new textures, learn about the environment, and begin to understand the natural the world as part of the EYFS.
Daily use is made of the outside space, whether for lessons, sports activities, or free flow play for the children.
Preschool Room

Our team is highly qualified in all aspects of childcare and, between them, hold NVQ Level 3 in Childcare up to Degree level. Every member of staff is also fully First Aid trained and prepared to deal with emergency situations.
We continually invest in our team and provide opportunities to further their knowledge and development through long term qualification routes, short courses, or in-house training.
The team is chosen for their qualifications, caring nature, and true passion for childcare and education. We aim to provide a balance of staff - employing all ages, experiences, cultural backgrounds, abilities, and genders in order to create an atmosphere of inclusion and diversity.
